How long is recovery from the surgeries?
- Scarless lifting surgeries are less invasive, and most patients are able to return to work within 1 week.
- More involved lifting surgeries like facelifts, browlifts & necklifts where skin has to be excised require approximately 2 weeks of recovery time.
How long will I need to stay for?
- Out of state patients ideally should remain for a 1 week post-op check.
- Non-surgical treatments should be seen 3 days post-op, while patients undergoing more intense surgical procedures should plan for a 1 week stay, in the interest of safety.
- We can help plan your stay and recovery with discounted room rates and concierge services.
What are the costs for surgeries?
No two patients will receive the same treatment, which is in keeping with our philosophy of individualized aesthetic care. Some patients may also be able to budget for less complicated treatments, while other patients are more budget flexible.
We have consultations to discuss tiers of treatments that can produce results. Consultations can be done in person, or scheduled remotely.

Will I be asleep for the treatment?
We offer light to moderate sedation for treatment comfort. This is not the same as deep general anesthesia. While you will not be in a deep sleep, sedation represents ‘twilight sleep’ where you are comfortable, and easily aroused when needed.
Our clinic offers the best in pain management for the orofacial, face and neck areas.
Can one really plan how the face ages?
Yes! You really can plan how you age. Dr. Destang expertly assesses your facial & skin structures on various levels.
Assessment of the aging face relies on intimate knowledge of both the intraoral & extraoral structures, and how they relate to each other. This is key, since these relationships support how the skin drapes on the face. We are fully qualified to guide you on how your structures are changing with time, to better guide you on modalities that will support your natural ability to slow down the aging of the skin, facial bones, and the many supporting facial layers.
Where is the clinic located?
The Face Clinic is located on the second floor of the Providence Medical Center in Rodney Bay, on the gorgeous Caribbean island of Saint Lucia.
